Walking Spring

[Fringed cardigan - Urban Outfitters, Cropped peplum top & pants - H&M, Bag - Tory Burch, Eye necklace - eBay, Watch - Casio]

Happy March! No words can express how happy I am that it's March because it's my favorite month of the year. Not only is it my BIRTHDAY month but it also means Spring and Spring Break are around the corner. As much as I love Winter and wearing dark colors, I can't wait to be able to wear shorts and dresses again without having to wear tights. I can't wait to see everyone's style transition from Winter to Spring. Here's my take on Spring.

Shake Shack... And I'm Back

I'M BACK AGAIN ...and I promise that's the last time I'll say that because I'm back for good. After 10 months of laziness and slacking off, I've finally brought myself to blog again and it's all thanks to Dana and Sam. Since Dana and Sam started a blog a couple of days ago, both inspired and motivated me to revive mine. Over the last year I've drastically grown as a person and one important thing I've learned is that times are changing QUICK, so what better way to hold on to time than with a blog to document everything.

And what better way to start my blog than with my current obsession... Shake Shack. Shake Shack is not your typical burger joint and it also isn't the East Coast's version of In-N-Out Burger because In-N-Out doesn't even come close to the heaven that is Shake Shack (I've heard many of people who's tasted both and preferred Shake Shack over In-N-Out, just sayin'). Point blank, if I had to choose one food to eat for the rest of my life it'd be Shake Shack's Shroom Burger (and their Cheese Fries... if I could choose two). Being a vegetarian, it's nearly impossible to find a veggie burger that doesn't taste like cardboard and when I was introduced to Shroom Burger, it was love at first bite! It was better than ANY burger I've ever tasted before, veggie or not. The Shroom Burger is what every burger should taste and look like, it's juicy and oozing with flavor in every bite (crisp-fried portobello mushrooms filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce) and it looks like the perfect burger you see in every cartoon shows.
Low and behold, Shake Shack's Shroom Burger
Cheese Fries

And for the extra health conscious, all burgers are made with 100% all-natural freshly ground Angus beef free of antibiotics and hormones and all fries are crinkle cut Yukon potatoes 100% free of artificial trans fat. Oh and there's also fresh hot dogs and frozen custards.

Once they've taken down your order, they give you this numbered device that shakes once your order's ready. Random fact about me: I have no patience for anything, especially when it comes to food. I will not stop complaining until it's literally in my mouth.

My sister, Dana. Check out her blog here.

Btw I bought the coolest fish eye lens to attach to my iPhone from eBay. I'll let you be the judge of its quality.

Random fact about me: I take pictures of everything I eat.

If you're a New Yorker and you haven't been to Shake Shack, you're missing out on life. Please go buy yourself a Shroom Burger, I don't care if you're not a vegetarian and if you don't like mushrooms, just trust me on this one and this is coming from a REALLY picky eater. If you don't live in New York, now you have another reason to visit. Apologies if I made you hungry.
